Trafford Labour councillors have welcomed new CCTV systems in Gorse Hill and Cornbrook as part of a council initiative to improve coverage throughout the borough.

Trafford Council’s Community Safety Team has installed the technology to address local concerns, enhance public safety, and create safer communities for residents.

These cameras will cover significant parts the surrounding area, offering comprehensive monitoring to support crime prevention and public safety.

The new cameras utilize advanced high-definition technology and are connected to Trafford Council’s 24/7 control room.

This control room has a direct radio link to Greater Manchester Police, ensuring swift responses to incidents.
